III. the Physicians Office and Group Practice—Ambulatory Medical Record Systems: C. Medical Record Systems Issues: From Sorting Card to Automated Medical Data System

摘要

This article reports a medical data base system which can replace the sorting cards. The system is written in ANS-MUMPS. It consists of a question set up program package, a question text data base, a question driver, a medical data base, a retrieval and statistical analyses program package. This system suits today's Chinese medical practice and is a good starting point for the development of dynamic medical information systems in China.
