Comparison of hepatic artery reconstruction using surgical loupe and operating microscope during living donor liver transplantation focusing on the beginners point

Backgrounds/AimsHepatic artery (HA) reconstruction during living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) has been performed by experienced microsurgeons with operative microscope in most centers. However, it takes long time to learn the skills and so, to simplify this procedure, transplant surgeons recently performed this procedure using surgical loupe.
