BackgroundPosterior capsule opacification (PCO) is still a major long‐term complication of modern cataract surgery. We evaluated the impact of sharp‐edged intraocular lenses (IOLs) with different haptic designs made from the same hydrophobic acrylic material on posterior and anterior lens capsule opacification.
