ObjectiveTo determine patients’ self-reported preferences and expectations for outpatient upper gastrointestinal (UGI) endoscopy, including patients’ priorities in obtaining a satisfactory healthcare experience, preprocedure anxiety and its causes, and preferred staff roles.
