BackgroundMaternal and child undernutrition have adverse consequences for pregnancy outcomes and child morbidity and mortality, and they are associated with low educational attainment, economic productivity as an adult, and human wellbeing. ‘Nutrition-sensitive’ agriculture programs could tackle the underlying causes of undernutrition.
