云南路南中始新世雷兽化石

摘要

The brontotheres described in the present paper were collected from the Middle Eocene Lumeiyi Formation of Lunan Basin ,Yunnan by a field team of IVPP in 1 970s.They include two species -Protitan majorsp .nov.(V 1 3 80 2～ 4)and Protitan cf.P .robustus which represented by a left lower jaw with p3～m3 as well as broken c1 and p2 ,a right lower jaw with p3～m3 of same in dividual (V 1 3 80 5)
