Based on the engineering practice and experiments of U-type beam used in Shanghai rail transit, the design criteria and the characteristics of U-type beams are analyzed and discussed. The engineering practice shows that U-type beam is very suitable for rail transit, and will meet the design goal of safety, practicality, economy, artistry, environmental protection and durability.%根据上海轨道交通应用U形梁的工程实践及相关试验研究,对U形梁设计的标准及特点进行了分析探讨.工程实践表明,U形梁结构是非常适合城市轨道交通的一种桥梁结构,能满足安全、实用、经济、美观、环保、耐久的结构设计目标.
