使能全光网的WSS技术

         

摘要

ROADM作为全光网最重要的组成部分之一,可以给光网络带来灵活可变、降低功耗和成本、充分利用网络空闲资源等优势,近年来开始在骨干网和城域网规模部署.对于组成ROADM的重要元器件之一——WSS的构造原理进行详细阐述和分析,并介绍未来下一代WSS的主要特性和挑战,最后基于元器件发展的趋势,给出ROADM的发展方向——CDC ROADM的可行架构.%As one of the most important parts of all-optical networks, ROADM brings benefits such as flexibility, low-power consumption, cost and efficient utilization of network resources. Consequently they have been deployed in volume over recent years in backbone and metro networks. The WSS, the key component of the ROADM, was described, followed by a description of the features and challenges of next generation WSS designs. Finally, the CDC ROADM, which was the likely next evolutionary step for the ROADM, was investigated along will the necessary components development.
