光时域反射技术一直是电力光缆故障定位最为传统的方法并广泛应用于电力通信等各领域, 但在通信运维工作中, 随着故障点到光时域反射测试点的光缆距离越长, 测量的偏差也就越大.因此考虑到利用传统光时域反射技术测量定位方法的不足, 分析了光频域反射技术的基本原理并应用到电力光缆故障定位中, 同时分析对比光频域反射技术的优点, 提出了一种基于光频域反射原理的故障定位方法, 可以有效降低光缆故障地理定位误差, 且便于运维人员精准定位、快速排查光缆故障点.%Optical time domain reflection technology has been the most traditional method for fault location of power optical cable and widely used in power communication and other fields. But in the communication operation and maintenance work, the longer the distance from the fault point to the optical time domain reflection test point, the bigger the measurement deviation will be. Therefore, considering the shortcomings of traditional optical time domain reflection (OTDR) technology, the basic principle of optical frequency domain reflection (OFDR) technology is analyzed and applied to the fault location of power optical cable. At the same time, contrasting with OTDR technolgy, the advantages of OFDR technology are analyzed. A fault location method based on the principle of OFDR is proposed. This method can effectively reduce the geographic positioning error of fiber optic cable faults, and is convenient for operation and maintenance personnel to accurately locate and quickly detect the fiber optic cable faults.
