Bay area economy is a new phenomenon of Chinese developed urban agglomeration in its process of evolution. Based on the statistics of 9 cities in Hangzhou Greater Bay Area and 11 cities in Guangdong-Hong KongMacao Greater Bay Area in 2016, the paper analyzes the conditions of the industrial division of labor by using Industrial Structure Similarity Index, Location Quotient method, the Locational Gini Indices etc. The comparison is drawn from two aspects. One is from the holistic perspective and the other is from the perspective of member cities. The results reveal that regarding the industrial division of labor among the bay areas, generally the level of two bay areas' industrial division of labor is rather low, but the industrial division of labor in some double-digit manufacturing, producer services, consumer services and construction industries is clear-cut. From the perspective of industrial division in the bay area, the overall division of two bay areas isn't high enough and the level of division of labor in Hangzhou Greater Bay Area's three industries is lower than that in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. According to this paper, the differentiation mode of the two bay areas is supposed to be supported and the industrial division of labor among cities in the bay areas should be deepened in order to exert the agglomeration effect.%湾区经济是中国发达城市群演进中的新现象.基于2016年环杭州湾区9个城市及粤港澳大湾区11个城市的数据,综合采用产业结构相似指数、区位熵和区位基尼系数等3个指标,从湾区间、湾区内两个层面测量并比较中国两大湾区的产业分工情况.研究表明:从湾区间产业分工看,两大湾区总体的产业分工水平较低,但在部分的两位数制造业、生产者服务业、消费者服务业以及建筑业上存在明确的产业分工;从湾区内产业分工看,两大湾区总体的产业分工程度不高,且环杭州湾区在三次产业上的分工水平均低于粤港澳大湾区.根据以上结论,政策上应当支持两大湾区间错位发展,并在湾区内深化分工以发挥集聚效应.
