碳化钨/碳气凝胶纳米复合材料增强 Pt 电催化甲醇性能的研究

         

摘要

以间苯二酚和甲醛为原料,采用溶胶-凝胶法原位合成 WC 纳米颗粒制备了碳化钨/碳气凝胶(WC / CAs);以 WC / CAs 为载体,利用微波加热乙二醇还原法制备了 Pt/ WC / CAs 催化剂。运用循环伏安法( CV)、线性扫描( LSV)、计时电流法( CA)、能谱( EDS)、透射电子显微镜( TEM)和 X 射线衍射( XRD)等技术分析 Pt/ WC / CAs 催化剂的组成、结构及其对甲醇的电催化氧化活性的影响。实验结果表明,载体中 WC 纳米颗粒的加入促进 Pt 贵金属颗粒对甲醇的电催化氧化活性,正扫电流峰 ip 与扫描速率的平方根 v1/2线性相关,Pt/ WC / C 催化氧化甲醇的过程受扩散控制;且电催化活性比 Pt/ C 要好。%The nanosized tungsten carbides supported on carbon aerogel composites have been synthesized for the first time by a polycondensation of resorcinol and formaldehyde ( RF ) method in the presence of sodium tungstate. The nanocomposites are characterized by X - ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,energy dispersive X - ray spectroscopy( EDS)and cyclic voltammetry. The Pt nanoparticles supported on tungsten carbide and carbon aerogel composites(Pt/ WC / C)for methanol oxidation are investigated. The Pt/ WC / C as electrocatalyst shows a superior activity toward the methanol oxidation which is almost two times higher than that of Pt/ C due to the synergistic effect between Pt and tungsten carbides. And the electrocatalysts of Pt/ WC / C is more duralable than the Pt/ C. This finding indicates that the tungsten carbide nanocomposites will be the novel potential catalyst support in the direct methanol fuel cells.
