cqvip:In Virginia Woolf's masterpiece To the Lighthouse, the combination of autobiographical materials with poetic methods of presentation and a large structural pattern results in the final reconciliation between life and art. This paper elaborates on her feminist approaches such as stream of consciousness, montage and symbolism employed in the novel.
