The rapid development of private middle schools in China has attracted attention from all walks of life in the society and become a hot topic in the education field. However, private middle schools are faced with a severe decline of student source, resulting in some oddities, in order to enroll and keep students, such as teachers'"flattering students" which is mainly caused by the identity of teachers as"migrant workers" for pri-vate schools and "servants" for students, as well as by their weakened rights. Based on analyzing the causes of private mid-dle school teachers' "flattering students", this paper focused on strategies of improving the situation, hoping to guide teachers' teaching in private middle schools.%我国的民办中学发展迅速，引起了社会各界的关注，并成为教育领域的一个热点。但是民办中学面临着严重的生源问题，生源日益萎缩，因此各学校为了招到学生、留住学生，也出现了一些怪现象，如教师“媚生”现象。“媚生”现象出现的主要原因是，民办中学教师被看作是学校的“打工者”、是学生的“服务者”、是“权益被弱化者”。本文在分析民办中学教师“媚生”现象的原因的基础上，重点探讨了改善民办中学教师“媚生”现状的策略，以期指导民办中学教师教学。
