As for the re-claimer with 6 000 t/h loading ability, which was brought into operation in the first-phase coal terminal of Huanghua Port ten years ago, its rotary support rail often distorts and collapses in the operation, and has to be replaced by new one twice or more per year. Based on the above case, the cause of rail damage is investigated by calculating the deadweight of re-claimer and the rotary wheel pressure under overloading working condition. The existing problems of the re-claimer rotary wheel and its rail are researched deeply.
