Shunt capacitor banks is the primary reactive power compensation device which is widely used to improve power quality. However, operation over-voltage induced by frequent switching can damage the insulation equipment that is harmful for the grid to work regularly. Therefore, using EMTP/ATP, a simulation calculation model of reactive power compensation capacitor switching operation is established to simulate over-voltage and over current phenomenon caused by the cast cut, analysis transient process of the system. A proposal of using damping device to restrain is put forward, and its feasibility is proved through simulation.% 为了提高电能质量,并联电容器组作为主要的无功补偿装置被广泛地应用。但频繁的投切产生的操作过电压会损坏绝缘设备,不利于电网的正常运行。为此,利用EMTP/ATP,建立了无功补偿电容器投切操作的仿真计算模型,模拟投切所引起的过电压、过电流现象,对系统进行暂态过程分析。提出了采用阻尼装置来进行抑制,并通过仿真证明其可行性。
