Several Considerations of the Critical Period Hypothesis

The existence of Critical Period Hypothesis in language acquisition is an important and controversial issue.This thesisreviews the scholars who support,suspect or oppose the existence of CPH and further explored from the effective factors of lateral-ization,cognitive ability,social basis and affective factors.We can not conclude that there exists a critical period which guaranteethe success or failure of language acquisition.All factors function together in the process of language learning.
