Production System Optimization, Automation and Sustainability in Manufacturing of Crankshaft

摘要

A multistage automated production system for crankshafts under sustainability considerations is presented.The advanced methodologies presented here will reduce cost and improve productivity.The optimum parameters for operations are calculated for the minimum cost of operation.The manufacturing automation is illustrated through a production system design showing the specification of machine tools,total energy consumption and total carbon dioxide emission.
