一种基于初始曲线变换的五轴加工刀具扫掠体计算方法

         

摘要

A methodology to generate the cutter swept volume by initial curves is proposed for the intersection between tools and workpieces in five-axis milling. First it analyzes the velocity on each tool position, the characters and generating law of swept profiles based on the envelope theory. Then it calculates the rotation angle of discrete points on initial curves. After the switch of all initial curves, it connects them to be the swept volume. At last, the validity of solution is verified by an example. The method is easy, exact and has a high efficiency and can be extended to evaluate the swept volume of different cutters.%针对五轴数控加工中刀具与工件的相交问题,提出一种基于初始曲线变换的刀具扫掠体的算法.它首先通过分析各个刀位上的速度向量,并且根据包络理论分析包络轮廓线的特征和形成规律,求出初始曲线上各离散点的旋转角度,初始曲线变换后得到包络轮廓线,连接各刀位上的包络轮廓线形成刀具扫掠体,最后通过实例验证了所涉及到的刀具扫掠体求解的正确性.算法具有方法简单、计算准确、运算效率高等优点,并可进一步推广至任意形状刀具的扫掠体的计算和分析.
