In this fixture, the column pin and diamond pin were replaced by self-centering flexible split coupling which was as clamping component too. The structure, operation principle, fastening process as well as features of the flexible split coupling were expatiated. Analysis and contrast towards traditional single-sided diplopore location mode were implemented. The new style high precision pneumatic fixture owns the advantages as high precision location, compact structure, convenient operation, high operation efficiency, and low labor intensity and etc. , which is especially suitable for follower fixtures in medium batches and great batches of production.
