文章以110年前湖南图书馆创立为例，分析了输入文明和保存国粹实为近代图书馆宗旨两个重要方面，论述了二十世纪初以来图书馆从封闭到全面免费开放的历史发展过程，指出了当代图书馆读者需求的新形势和变革新的理念与之适用的迫切性。%Taking Hunan Library was founded 110 years ago for example by analyzing two important aspects to input civilizations and to save the quintessence of Chinese culture for modern library aim this paper discusses the development process from closed to fully free open since the early twentieth century , new situation of reader demand and the urgency of new idea to change of contemporary library.
