基本层次词在英汉构词中的应用对比

摘要

构词对比是英汉对比的一个分支，对比可以发现不同民族在语言上的认知差异，从而促进语言的学习和教学，完善语言理论。简要回顾英汉对比的历史，并立足于范畴化的基本层次理论，以英汉关于“笑”的不同表达为切入点，通过一系列英汉对等词的对比研究，探讨英汉构词法的异同。%As a branch of English-Chinese contrast, word-formation has provided us with many differences in languages cognition among nations, which would greatly promote learning, teaching and perfect theories. This paper, based on the theory of basical level of category, briefly introduces the history, then starts with Chinese character about ＂laugh＂, and gives lots of examples to discuss the similarities and differences between English and Chinese word-formation.
