孔雀自古就集娱乐、观赏、医疗、食用于一身，然而关于孔雀在中国历史时期的地理分布混乱不清，也缺乏专门的研究。文章搜集、整理历史文献，以《二十四史》为主要来源，辅助其他史籍，梳理分析与孔雀相关的历史文献，总结出中国历史时期孔雀广泛分布于中国西南和南方地区、西域地区、两广地区，而且还分布在与这些地区接壤相邻的印度、越南、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚等国家和地区。%Peacock has high entertainment, ornamental, medicinal and edible values, but its geographical distribution in Chinese historical periods is in confusion and also lacks specialized research. By combing historical documents associated with the peacock in Twenty-four Histories and other historical records, the paper discovers that the peacock is widely distributed in southwest and southern regions of China, western region, Guangdong and Guangxi region, but also distributes in their neighboring areas India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and other countries and regions, so it has high historical and cultural values.
