论《孤独者》中魏连殳的死因及其内涵

摘要

Wei Lianshu is a typical character of New Culture Intellectuals. His death clearly indicates the fate of the intellectuals who went backwards ideologically and spiritually. The main reason of Wei Lianshu's death lies in that he got trouble in both real life and spiritual world, thus preventing him from ifnding the way forward. In real life, the direct reason Wei Lian-shu's death is exclusion and misunderstanding of the villagers and his relatives, the persecution and attacks from the feudal forces of S city, as well as material dififculties and the embarrassment of living circumstances. In the spiritual world, the real reason of Wei Lian-shu's death is no support of the soul, the sharp inner conlfict and self-destruction.%魏连殳是革命落潮后的新文化知识分子的典型，他的死明确地昭示了在思想和精神上倒退的知识分子的下场。魏连殳的死因，主要是他在现实生活和精神世界均陷入了困境，找不到前进的路。现实生活中，村人和亲戚本家对魏连殳的排挤和不理解、S城封建势力对魏连殳的逼迫和攻击以及物质生活的困顿和生存境遇的尴尬是魏连殳死亡的直接原因。精神世界中，灵魂失去了支撑、内心矛盾尖锐和自我毁灭是魏连殳死亡的根本原因。
