大学文化建设是新建本科院校建成现代大学的重要途径

摘要

20世纪90年代中期以来,一批专科学校为适应我国高等教育大众化的需要,先后通过各种形式升格为本科院校。对新建本科院校来说,无论生源、师资力量,还是教学管理和教学水平,与老字号本科院校相比,基本上不占优势。只有将大学的本质及其办学规律与新建本科院校的实际情况有机地结合起来,把大学文化建设作为着力点和主要抓手,以理论创新为基础,以理念创新为先导,才能使之在较短的时间内建成为现代大学。%A large number of medium-sized colleges of China have upgraded to universities since the 1990s so as to adapt to the trend of higher education in a popular style.These ＂newly-built＂ universities have no advantages over those long-established ones in many aspects,especially in teaching and management.Therefore the paper,by investigation,proposes that the newly-built universities should put emphasis on cultural construction and it is the important way to the connotation construction of the universities.
