中国第一个社会学系及其成立时间辨--谨以此文纪念沪江大学社会学系成立100周年

摘要

关于中国第一个社会学系是谁以及沪江大学社会学系成立的准确时间，以往高等教育、社会学、社会工作、宗教学等学科的学科史专著中众说纷纭。通过勾稽比对、寻访可靠资料来源，可以确认，1914年2月沪江大学由葛学溥成立的社会学系是中国高校中第一个社会学系。%As to the exact time of the first establishment of Department of Sociology in China, different opinions occurred in the history of sociology, social work, higher education, and other fields.Through checking reliable sources,we assert that the first department of sociology in China was established in University of Shanghai by Daniel Kulp Ⅱ in 1914 February.
