Based on the problems in public computer room upgrading in Colleges and universities, this paper introduces the concept and basic composition of desktop virtualization technology, and discusses its implementation scheme and re-lated applications and strategies in solving the problems.%阐述高校公共机房在升级改造中所遇到的问题，介绍桌面虚拟化技术的概念和基本构成，论述桌面虚拟化在高校机房改造中的实施方案以及相关应用和策略。
