T his paper talked about the function of the organizations serviced for the old people lived in rural country side ,which play important roles in the society .The organizations offer the space of amuse-ments for old people ,let the olds participate with regular activists ,coordinate with each other ,help the old people away from illness and so on .The organizations also help the government "selectively manage-ment".All these functions pushed their fast development .However ,it still cannot meet the social needs and there are other problems brought up :the great lack of managers and elites of the organizations ,There-fore ,this paper suggested government to increase the financial investment and social status of there organi-zations .%老年组织在农村养老中具有参与、协调、救助与舆论等方面的重要功能，社会空间的释放及政府的“选择性管理”、村民们对公共服务的需求与农村精英的引领催生了老年组织。政府若要充分激发老年组织的养老潜能，还需要解决老年组织的身份地位与经济基础等问题。
