As time moves by, the clown Falstaff in Shakespeare’s plays has been adored by Chinese readers today.The present thesis tries to feel Chinese readers’ aesthetic resonance with the artistic comic figure that definitely has brought aggressive enlightenment to them.%历经时间长河的洗涤，莎剧中的丑角福斯塔夫仍然受到今天中国读者的喜爱。从历史积淀中形成的等级观和当下无奈的社会现状两方面的相似点入手，中国读者最能感知福斯塔夫诙谐的语言中隐含的艰辛，荒诞的行为中包含的无奈。
