Twelve Nidānas are the core of Buddhist teaching.In history,scholars express various ide-as about them in different essays.Among them is the Enlightenment of Samsara and Nirvana as the Wheel of Twelve Nidānas by Sakya master Guoranba.By sorting out and summing up the basic con-tents,main features and theoretical origins of Twelve Nidānas of the four branches,the article shows that this very work is a compulsory reading to understand Twelve Nidānas of the four branches.%十二缘起是佛教义理的核心，历来学者们对此义理见仁见智，各抒胸臆，为此发表了诸多论著。萨迦派学者果然巴的名著《缘起建立之轮涅极明论》便是其中的代表作。对果然巴所论述四宗派十二缘起思想的基本内容、主要特点以及理论渊源等作梳理和总结，可以看出《缘起建立之轮涅极明论》是我们把握四宗派缘起观的必读书目。
