Based on the longitudinal study of the rural cooperative movement in North China, Liu Jirong' s Cooperative movement and rural social changes studied the rural social changes caused by the rural cooperative movement in the perspective of national social relations through the analysis of the operation mechanism, the mechanism of cooperation system, and the mechanism of the cooperation system. In the study of modern Chinese rural cooperation movement, the book made up one of the weakest areas and it was one masterpiece in the field of the study on North China. In the study of regional social change in North China, the book should have a broader perspective and thinking.%刘纪荣所著《合作运动与乡村社会变迁》一书,在对华北农村合作运动历程纵向考察的基础上,通过分析华北农村合作运动中合作组织的经营运行、合作体系的运行机制、合作制度的功能机理,在国家—社会关系的视野下讨论农村合作运动引起的乡村社会变迁. 在近代中国农村合作运动的研究上,该书弥补了以往学术界研究中的一大薄弱领域,是华北学研究的一部重要著作. 在华北区域社会变迁研究层面,该书值得探讨的问题还应具有更为广阔的视野与思路.
