意识形态对翻译选材的影响

摘要

中外文化交流中翻译有着不可替代的作用。翻译通过语符转换传达意义，实现文化交流，因而和政治、文化等因素息息相关。翻译活动的各个阶段都受到意识形态的影响。社会主流意识形态、译者个人意识形态、赞助人意识形态都对翻译活动的第一步———翻译选材有很大的影响。%Translation plays an irreplaceable role in Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges .Transla‐tion ,closely related to politics and culture ,conveys meaning and exchange cultures through the conver‐sion of linguistic signs .Translation activities ,including the first step———choices of translated materials are deeply influenced by ideology .T his paper mainly discusses the influence of ideology on the selection of translation materials from three aspects :the social dominant ideology aspect ,translators’ individual ideology aspect and patronage’s ideology aspect .
