掺钕硼酸锂激光玻璃的光学吸收特性

         

摘要

Glass doped with rare earth ions is widely used in the field of nuclear fusion, high-power laser amplifiers and fiber lasers. The refractive index of the neodymium-doped lithium borate glass was measured and investigated by ellipsometry. The transmission spectra and reflection spectra were obtained using a TU-1901 ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) spectrophotometer in this work. The refractive index is about 1. 684 and the extinction coefficient is 0. 056 at 632.8nm. The absorption spectrum of the borate glass doped with Nd3+ was analyzed. There are four absorption peaks which are similar to the absorption peaks of Nd. YAG in the visible range, and the absorption sections of these peaks are 1.45×10-20cm2、1.98×10-20cm2、1.92×10-20cm2、1.94×10-20cm2, respectively.%掺杂稀土元素的激光玻璃由于本身的优点广泛应用于核聚变、高功率激光放大器和光纤激光器等领域。利用椭偏仪和TU-1901紫外可见分光光度计分别对掺钕硼酸锂的折射率、透射和反射等光学性质进行了研究,进而得到掺钕硼酸锂玻璃的折射率、透射光谱、反射光谱、吸收光谱,并对其进行了分析。发现材料在632.8nm波长处折射率为1.684,消光系数为0.056;吸收光谱主要有4个吸收峰,在可见光范围内吸收峰与Nd∶YAG的主要吸收峰大致相同,吸收截面分别为1.45×10-20cm2、1.98×10-20cm2、1.92×10-20cm2、1.94×10-20cm2。
