Planning and Design of Roof Garden of a Students’ Apartment in Sichuan Agricultural University in China

摘要

After the introduction of the concept and features of roof garden,it has emphasized roof garden landscape can help to alleviate urban land use pressure,vertically use land resources and improve urban land use efficiency.After the introduction of the situation of domestic and foreign researches on roof garden,a detailed planning for roof garden has been conducted by taking Roof A of Building 22 in the third area of students’ apartments in Sichuan Agricultural University as an example.It has analyzed the geography and humanistic environment of the campus,and the architectural and roof condition.Furthermore,it has proposed the reference and concept of this planning and design,and summarized design principles for roof garden.On this basis,it has analyzed the general planning layout and three functional zones of the project,and the design of landscaping sketches and plants.
