城市道路标识语英译标准研究——以洛阳市道路标识语英译为例

摘要

随着全球化进程加快,国际交往日益频繁,越来越多的外国人来华旅游、经商、参加会议。公共场所双语标识的作用也随之突显,然而由于标识语英译缺乏统一的标准,不少双语标识译法存在问题。洛阳身为历史文化名城,其国际交流作用不可小觑。本文探讨城市道路英译标准规则,以洛阳市道路标识语的英译为例进行分析,力图规范英译标识,促进对外交流的发展。%Owing to the accelerated process of globalization and the increasingly frequent international communications,more and more foreigners come to China to go traveling,do business,and attend conference.The role of English public signs has been highlighted.However,many English translations are not practical because of lacking translation standards.Luoyang,as a famous historical and cultural city,its international communication role should not be overlooked.This paper studies the standards of English city road signs,and conducts a case study on Luoyang English road signs in order to standardize the English road signs and benefit the communication.
