TED演讲是网上学习社区最为活跃的板块之一，在其风靡全球的背后是演讲者意识形态潜移默化的扩大和传播。TED演讲者对中国国家形象建构有如下特征：涉华题材广泛，演讲者经常把中国和印度相提并论；作为一个崛起的发展中大国，中国被描述成“内部问题严重”、具有双重身份的角色，即认为中国既是国际秩序的潜在威胁，也是国际事务的合作伙伴。TED演讲需要更多的中国声音来争取更多的跨文化传播主动权，以树立良好的中国形象。%TED speeches are gaining popularity within the network learning communities,accounting for the wide spread and transmission of TED speakers’ideologies.The construction of China’s na-tional image by TED speakers can be characterized as follows:1 )wide coverage of China-related is-sues and China’s high co-occurrence with India;2 )as a rising developing country,China currently is being afflicted by various domestic problems,while voices from abroad regard China as both a poten-tial threat to the internal order and a prospective partner in dealing with international affairs.More Chines speakers are expected to come onto the stage of TED so as to promote cross-cultural commu-nication on their own initiative and contribute to construction of China′s positive image.
