中美之间交流日益增多使大量美语新词进入中国的视野。翻译美语新词时要遵循一定的原则，既要准确反映原词的含义，符合原词的语体和语域，又要符合汉语习惯。根据翻译目的和受众的的不同，可以采用更灵活的翻译策略和方法。%The increasing exchange between China and the US brings large numbers of American English neologism into China. Translation of American English neologism shall follow certain principles, including accurately reflecting the original meaning of the word, being in line with the original language style and language domains and Chinese language rules. According to different translation purpose, more flexible translation strategies and methods can be used.
