Based on the theory of cognitive linguistics and the category of“giving-receiving”, this paper will classify the semantic types of“kureru”, and analyze its semantic characteristics, from which the internal relations and the extension process of the meanings will be studied. The basic meaning of“kureru”here is defined as“to give something”but we will extend this to four semantic types through metaphor:to give an action, to give a permission, to give a state, and to give a change. Moreover, it will also be extended to four semantic types through metonymy:to express gratitude, to express disadvantage, to express wish, and to express request. Finally, it can be extended as“the speaker’s standpoint”through metonymy according to the relationship between the whole and the parts.%运用认知语言学的语义扩展理论，从“授受”原型范畴义出发，对「クレル」的语义类型进行再分类，分析其语义特征，并考察各语义间的内在联系及扩展的过程。确立「クレル」的基本义是给予物品义，通过隐喻、转喻等机制扩展为六种语义类型：给予行为义、给予行为支配义、恩惠义、讽刺不利义、祈使义和说话者立场义。
