生之谓性：《孟子》人性本体成立的生活本源

孟子、告子谈“性”是有共同平台的。这共同平台就是“生之谓性”或“以生言性”。但孟子观念中的“生之谓性”，不是告子所理解的“生之谓性”，而是意义更为全面、理解更为透彻，是在本源层面上理解的，即：生活是“性”观念产生的渊源，是“人性”得以成立的生活本源。%Mencius and Gaozi talked about “gender” with a common platform. This platform is the common “inborn” or “in terms of growth.” But Mencius' concept of“inborn” is not that of Gaozi, whose significance is more comprehensive and the under-standing is clearer, which is on the origin of life, namely:life is the origin of gender concept, is also the life origin of human na-ture.
