隐喻与文化相辅相成 ,它既是一种修辞手段 ,也是一种重要的认知工具和思维方式.从中西文化视角 ,以认知语言学的奠基人莱考夫和约翰逊的观点为理论基础 ,透过英汉 "以物喻情" 的隐喻实例 ,探讨中西文化因素对友谊隐喻的不同影响 ,揭示友谊隐喻文化共同性、独特性、差异性 ,提出友谊隐喻的三个特征 :超物质性、超功利性、超精神性.研究结果表明 :英汉友谊隐喻具有认知的普遍性、哲理性以及文化地域的相对性和特殊性.%Metaphor is relatively independent of the corresponding culture , which is a figure of speech as well as a way of thinking . From the perspective of Sino-western cultures and based on the cognitive theory of metaphor proposed by Lakoff and Johnson , the effect of cultural factors on the usage of friendship metaphors is explored through the systematic comparative research of friendship metaphors in English and Chinese as well as its culture commonality , uniqueness and differences are interpreted respectively . A -materiality , surpassing -utilitarianism and surpassing-spirituality are three additional features of friendship metaphors . Although friendship metaphor between English and Chinese is characterized by cognitive universality , it carries the feature of geographic cultural relativity and uniqueness .
