The singing fields in Jingzhou forty — eight villages have a long history with clear inheritance .This activity is characterized by its excellent ecological environment ,multi — nationalities ,a large attendance ,four languages ,four accents singing together and reasonable space — time structure .The singing fields in Jingzhou forty — eight villages play an important role in carrying forward the traditional culture and it is also an important way for Miao ,Dong , Han residents to communicate and promote friendship , as well as an important opportunity for young men and women to date .This is the most precious intangible cultural heritage in nearby four counties of the two provinces of Hunan and Guizhou with an extremely important multidimensional value .
