爱伦坡恐怖小说中的身份寻找的困境

摘要

现实生活中的爱伦坡命运多舛，其一生都在追求多重身份确立而未果。反映在其恐怖小说中，人物都打破了自身与外界的同一性，把同一性元素转化为不断与自身斗争的他者，如：他者化的父辈、他者化的妻子、他者化的社会规范。其恐怖小说为作者失败的身份追寻建构了一个想象的出口：以极端的方式消灭他者。%Allan Poe tried in vain to seek his multi — identification in his hard life ,which has been fully reflected in his horor fictions , in which the characters has broken the identity principle between himself and the outside world , that is to say , in continuous conflict with the supporting elements in his life .For example ,the maternity ,the wife ,and the social standard has been taken the Other by the characters . In a word the horor fictions have been taken as an imaginary solution to his identity seeking in real life : to destroy the Other .
