现代新儒家牟宗三借助于黑格尔的辩证发展的概念,认为儒家的天理、良知可以通过“良知坎陷”这种自我否定和发展的方法,由此开出科学和民主等,来消解康德哲学的二元论并解决中国文化的问题,将超越和现实、道德和知识等统一起来。但与黑格尔不同,儒家的道德理想使他保留了一些终极的正面和肯定的价值,并仍然带有一些二元论的影响。但黑格尔却类似于道家和佛教,其所追求的是一个具有神秘主义色彩的超道德的世界。%The neo-Confucian Mou Zongsan, by means of the notion of dialectical development, holds that the heavenly princi-ples and good conscience can grow into science and democracy through self-denial and development, so-called“conscience hin-drance”, thus dispels the influence of Kant's philosophical dualism and gives a good solution to Chinese culture problems with the integration of preeminence and reality, morality and knowledge.Quite different from that of Hegel, moral ideals in Confu-cianism enables him to keep ultimate positiveness and affirmative value, in which left with a bit of dualistic influence.What He-gel pursues is a world of super morality with a sense of mysticism in it, which is quite similar to that of Daoism and Buddhism.
