Eu 3+ -doped TiO2 (TiO2:Eu3+) nanocrystals were synthesized by sol-gel method and a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) was introduced.Photovoltaic properties were investigated based on 50% commercial TiO2 powders (P25) doped TiO2:Eu3+ prepared by doping different content of Eu.The fluorescence spectroscopy result indicated that the TiO2:Eu3+excited at 463 nm could emit visible light at wavelengths of 587, 612 and 700 nm and had a down-conversion feature.The photovoltaic performances showed that short circuit currents could reach to 12.78 mA/cm2 based on a TiO2:Eu3+photoanode doped with Eu molar content of 1.5%.Compared with the cell without a down-conversion photoanode, the short circuit currents and the efficiency were improved by 12.69% and 11.44%, respectively.%用溶胶-凝胶法制备了Eu掺杂TiO2粉体(TiO2:Eu3+),并以质量分数50%的商用TiO2 (P25)为基体,制备了下转换光阳极,将其用于染料敏化太阳能电池,研究了不同Eu掺杂含量对电池性能的影响.荧光光谱显示,TiO2:Eu3+受463 nm光激发,发射587、612、700 nm波长的可见光,具有下转换功能.当Eu摩尔分数为1.5%时制备的下转换光阳极短路电流达到12.78 mA/cm2,与未使用下转换光阳极的电池相比,提高了12.69%,转换效率也提高了11.44%.
