Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) has been proposed by IETF tomanage Quality of Service in Internet. Unfortunately, network resources, such as routers, do not yet fully support RSVP. If there are such network resources (which can not support RSVP) in the router path, then the system can not gain certain end-to-end QoS. An agent-based approach is proposed to improve Quality of Service provisioning. The approach follows the open programmable networks paradigm for complementing still-defective Internet reservation schemes.%IETF提出使用RSVP协议确保能在Internet上得到QoS。
