The analytical solutions of the equations are derived by using different expressions for the gas-particle drag coefficient which correspond to different regimes of particle Reynolds number. They can be utilized to calculate particle velocities and trajectories within a mesh cell or random eddy in particle trajectory/stochastic trajectory model.
