Objective To observe the factors associated with pressure instability of nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) received by neonates. Methods From Oct. 2006 to Aug. 2009, 148 neonates receiving nasal CPAP were observed. The factors possibly associated with pressure instability of nasal CPAP were collected, including prong displacement, prong obstruction, water condensation inside CPAP hose, restlessness, unfitted headgear, improper prong size and excessive leakage. The Logistic regression analysis on the factors resulting in pressure instability were performed. Results The pressure instability during nasal CPAP was related to prong displacement, prong obstruction, water condensation inside CPAP hose, restlessness and unfitted headgear. Conclusions The factors resulting in pressure instability during nasal CPAP include prong displacement, prong obstruction, water condensation inside CPAP hose, restlessness and unfitted headgear. All these factors should be avoided during nasal CPAP.%目的 观察影响新生儿鼻塞持续气道正压通气(n-CPAP)过程中导致压力不稳定的因素.
