In this paper,a 3D FEA-model was built up for the specimen of a new joint transferring H-beams forces outside steel box columns. The displacement variation and the distribution of stress of the new beam-column joints at each loading stage are analyzed. The joint failure mechanism is analyzed. In addition, several examples are calculated to compare the ultimate bearing capacity of joint of different ultimate bearing capacity of columns and the effect of different position of plates to transfer force and special-shaped elements of the joints on the ultimate strength is discussed. This kind of joints can be used to some retrofit projects.%通过建立新型钢结构箱型柱和H型梁柱外传力式节点三维有限元模型,分析该类节点在各加载阶段的位移变化和应力分布情况及破坏形式.并比较了该类节点在不同柱的极限承载力和传力板与异型构件位置变化的极限承载力,得到该类节点极限承载力变化规律,为今后该节点的广泛工程应用提供参考依据.
