A test about nitrogen isotopic compositions in natural gases is preformed by a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). GC can easily separate N2 and CO.The experimental standard deviation of nitrogen isotopic compositions is less than 1‰.The nitrogen isotopic compositions with N2 content of 0. 1% may be measured in this way.
