淮河流域是中国传统社会主要粮食产区，至今仍是全国重要的粮食生产基地之一。处于淮河流域中游的皖北地区在整个淮河流域农业生产发展中起着举足轻重的作用。通过调查，全面把握该地区当今农业科技状况。并通过与传统农业技术的系统比较，综合评判两者对于该地区未来农业发展的意义。从而为安徽省淮河流域农业的可持续发展寻求途径。只有使两者密切结合，扬长避短，才能促进农业环境朝着可持续方向发展，为皖北及整个淮河流域未来农业的发展提供有利的环境条件。%The Huaihe Basin was the main area producing grains in traditional China, and now it is still one of the important grain production bases. The North of Anhui Province lying in the middle of the Huaihe Basin plays a great role in the agricul-tural production in the whole Huaihe Basin. Through investigation, the article comprehensively grasps today's agricultural situa-tion in the area. And by systematically comparing it with traditional agricultural skills, it comprehensively judges the meanings of the two for the future agriculture in the area. Thus, it hopes to find the ways for sustainable development of the agriculture in Huaihe Basin in Anhui Province. It thinks that only combining the two closely and making best use of the advantages and by-passing the disadvantages, we can promote the agricultural environment towards sustainable development, and it can provide advantageous environmental conditions for the future agriculture in the North of Anhui Province and the whole Huaihe Basin.
