近年来，苏州市姑苏区苏锦街道从自身实际出发，创建和完善“逢四说事”平台机制，走出了一条基层党组织密切联系群众的新路子。在开展党的群众路线教育实践活动中，他们积极畅通民意诉求渠道，解民忧、惠民生，进一步推动了“逢四说事”品牌的升华和深化，这对我们加强和改进新形势下的群众工作是具有启迪意义的。%In recent years, after a research on its own status quo, Sujin Sub-district of Suzhou’s Gusu District has created and completed a“Discussions on Dates with 4”mechanism (residents in the sub-district gather and dis⁃cuss their problems with Communist Party members on 4th, 14th and 24th of each month). It has become a new path for Party members to maintain close ties with the masses. During the Party’s Mass Line Education and Prac⁃tice, the Party members are playing an active role in hearing their people’s thoughts, resolving their problems, and benefiting people’s wellbeing. In doing so, they have pushed forward the“Discussions on Dates with 4”mecha⁃nism, which is inspiring to the cause of serving the people in the current situation.
